Product Description
A reliable wheelchair securement solution designed for commercial vehicles, public transport, MPVs, vans, and paratransit fleets.
Built to meet strict global safety requirements, the system combines four-point retractors, embedded floor tracks, and optional seat belt configurations to ensure passenger safety in all road conditions.
Our Wheelchair Securement System provides a complete and intuitive method to secure wheelchairs inside vehicles. The four retractors anchor the wheelchair to the vehicle floor, while the embedded tracks ensure a clean, obstruction-free installation.
Tested to ISO10542-1:2012 dynamic crash requirements, this system delivers safety, durability, and smooth daily operation for both passengers and caregivers.
Wheelchair Securement
The RS3A system is fully tested under international wheelchair securement standards, guaranteeing professional-grade safety for commercial and public transport vehicles.
When fully retracted, the wheelchair tie-down belts can be easily pulled out using just one hand, making it ideal for fast, efficient daily operation.
Each retractor features dual rotary knobs on both sides, enabling operators to quickly tighten or adjust belt tension with precision.
RS3A Wheelchair Restraint System
The system includes a standard two-point occupant safety belt.
For higher safety requirements, a three-point belt is available as an upgrade.
The flush-mounted track integrates seamlessly into the vehicle floor.
The included rubber sealing strip prevents dust accumulation and avoids tripping hazards when the system is not in use.
The RS3A disc mounting base occupies minimal floor space and supports 360-degree rotation, making it easy to align retractors with different wheelchair positions.

1. What is a wheelchair securement system?
A wheelchair securement system is a safety device installed inside accessible vehicles to securely lock a wheelchair in place during transportation. It helps prevent wheelchair movement or tipping while the vehicle is in motion.
2. How does a wheelchair securement system work?
This system typically uses a combination of straps, hooks, and locking mechanisms to secure both the wheelchair and the occupant. Some systems are manual, while others feature automatic or semi‑automatic locking for easier operation.
3. Can the wheelchair securement system accommodate different wheelchair types?
Yes. Most wheelchair restraint systems are designed to support a wide range of wheelchair types, including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and larger mobility scooters, depending on system capacity and vehicle configuration.
4. Is the wheelchair securement system safe for daily use?
Yes. Wheelchair securement systems are engineered with robust components and tested for safety. Proper installation ensures that the wheelchair remains firmly fixed during acceleration, braking, and turns for reliable daily operation.
5. Do wheelchair securement systems require professional installation?
Yes, because proper installation is critical to ensure user safety. These systems usually require professional installation and adjustment inside the vehicle to match specific wheelchair dimensions and securement points.
